11/20/2005 Entry: "Fish
Tycoon"
I (Gemelle) was VERY lucky to be part of the beta
testing team for Fish Tycoon's Windows PC version.
This game is for all ages. You can play the game simply to watch
fish grow from babies to adults and sell them for a profit. OR you
can take this game to a whole other level and discover the 7 magical
fishies of Isola. It's up to you!
Many changes has been made to the Windows PC version as opposed
to the Palm Pilot OS.
Since you can carry the Palm Pilot anywhere, the game can be played
in real-time and can be VERY addicting.
With the Windows PC version, you can pause the game when you're
not at the computer and pick it up where you left off. If you forget
to pause the game, it the automatically stops itself after a few
hours.
The graphics are awesome and the PC Version game can also be VERY
addictive. This game can definitely attract a crowd! I've tested
it on kids and they love watching the beautiful fish swim around
in the aquarium. (Of course you must remind the kids not to overfeed
the fishies!!!) Which leads into my next positive aspect of
Fish Tycoon. This game can also teach kids at an early age the proper
care and maintenance of an aquarium! Which always starts with NO
overfeeding! ~_^

Helpful Tips for Beginners
of Fish Tycoon
Here's a good fish
database to help you with all the possible combinations of breeding
the fishies.
For first timers playing the game, I highly recommend a spreadsheet
that tracks the fish and the BEST PRICE to sell them at.
The fish names in red means they are a level 2 fish
and will only survive in a level 2 aquarium environment. Just like
in the REAL world! Better environment can maintain rarer fishies,
which in turn can sell for more money!
