Sailor Moon News: For those Moonie fans out there, I just found out that Pioneer is planning to come out with the first two seasons of Sailor Moon on DVD UNCUT!!!!!!! YES UNCUT!!! We've been praying, we've been hoping, and we've been running around the house shouting "Moon Princess Halation" and now it is true. Despite the editing, cutting, and slaughtering of the first two seasons of Sailor Moon in the United States, Pioneer is going to resurrect the original two seasons in Japanese with English subtitles on DVD and VHS. They will be available for sale sometime after June 2003!!!!!!!!! Yes it will be ON SALE in the United States!!!!!!!!!

For those who were able to buy the last three seasons from VKLL before Pioneer bought the subtitling rights from them, remember how we were able to get the original Sailor S, Super S, and Sailor Stars seasons on tape (in Japanese with English subtitles)????? Well I was unable to obtain the first two seasons because DIC has already bought the rights to Sailor Moon before it aired in the United States. But Pioneer has somehow obtained the rights to the first two seasons. Thus this is a HUGE victory for all Sailor Moon fans. We will finally have uncensored versions of Sailor Moon's first TWO seasons!!! MANY American episodes were cut and words re-written. The first two seasons were completely watered down for children. I've always wondered what REALLY happened in the battle with Zoycite??? What really happened in that final battle with Queen Beryl??!!! Now all my questions will be answered in 2003!!! Woohoo!! The first two seasons will be packaged like how Pioneer sold the Sailor Moon movies - they will be in English and Japanese, UNCUT, NO censors!! A true victory for Moonies!!! We will finally get to see how Sailor Moon was meant to be seen in America!!! Long live Sailor Moon!! Cosmic Moon Power!!!!! :)
