Well another day. I didn't get a chance to do much on Monday, I really wonder what I did on Monday at work that kept me so busy. Hmm ... I can't remember. Anyways, there's a quick recap of my weekend:

1) Went to class
2) Got home, then ate Jack-in-the-Box breakfast
3) Went to Conroy's to get funeral flowers
4) Went to William's family's memorial
5) Went to memorial dinner, end of Saturday
6) Sunday morning watched Saturday morning cartoons
7) Went to Barnes & Nobles, couldn't find my map
8) Went to Spectrum, couldn't find map, but ate banana split and played in arcade
9) Came home, watched X-files
10) On Monday I did three (3) loads of laundry
11) Went to bed at 8:00 PM on Monday and didn't wake up until Tuesday morning

And yup, I'm still tired. Let's see, oh I remember. Monday at work I had to switch my primary health care physician. (more about this in the read more section).

No Neopets News Update for the weekend or for today.

Well besides the fact that the Mystery Pic should have ended on Friday but it's still there and today is already Tuesday. And the fact that today is Krawk Day and I still can't get myself a Tonu. So other than that, I have no Neoptes News for today.

Extended Entry Below

Yes, I'm part of an HMO and I'm really tired of the physician I have cause it seems that I'm always getting worse when I go to the doctor instead of better. Now the acupuncturist I went to was great, but he's all the way up in the heart of Los Angeles and that's just such a drive for me. Plus the HMO doesn't cover any type of care outside of my HMO group. So if I get sick outside of Orange County, I'm screwed cause the HMO only covers me for Orange County. So yeah, for those that think I don't get out much .. I've got a perfectly good medical excuse as to why not! =P I really HATE HMOs. They hurt just as many people as they save.

Anyways, I also called up Sallie Mae during all this time and found out that I still owe a boat-load of college debt. I have enough to buy myself a Toyota Accord. Anyways, the good news is that I only have seven (7) more years of this student loan crap to go. I thought I had twelve (12), but no I really only have seven (7), so I guess that's some good news. But I also did find out my current monthly payment is going to triple after 18 more months. Whatever. Oh yes and I found out that Sallie Mae purposely bought out my loan so that I don't qualify for the interest rate reduction. So I'm stuck at the high interest rates for the life of the loan. Yeah, they bribe me with the Great Rewards program and say how I can get an interest rate reduction after 48 month of on-time payments but then they go through the back-door and rewrite the policy so that no matter what I do, I am disqualified for it. So BOO to Sallie Mae!! pffftt!!! The bastards. They are so evil to students. Thank goodness that the loan is a government loan so that the interest rate is capped at 8.25%. Otherwise I'm sure they would enslave me and turn me into their indentured servant if they could.

Oh I guess that's all I've got for today. Oh, before I forget:

@Cyn - I hope everything works out with Hostiva and your quest in finding a good host *hugz*

Our student loan scheme is evil and I'll be paying mine off for the rest of my life (literally). The interest rate is about the same as a mortgage and my loan is big enough to buy a house (I'm in the top 10%, or is it 15?, of NZ for loan size). But they can never recall it or sell it or make you pay more than a certain minimum repayment which are all good things. Not to mention that I had no choice, we have to use the government scheme. :-)
