04/25/2002 Entry: "The day after booking the casino"

Yes, I survived last night. We went through a HUGE debate of over 5 hours to decide which casino we were going to stay in and how we were going to get there. At first I thought we should stay in Luxor, but then at SouthWest Airlines, they supposedly had this great deal for Bellagio. We thought we could get a two night stay at Bellagio for a total of $239 plus round-trip airfaire, well we hit the "buy" button and the actual price was $609. Now that's just FALSE advertisting!!!

So we left the SouthWest Airlines page and went elsewhere to find a bargain. Obviously I know we're not going to stay at Bellagio anymore. *sob* So we looked into the Venetian. The price wasn't so bad, but it was over the budget. Then we got a wedding invitation in the mail and it happened to be smack in the middle of our original plans for the vacation. So that threw a wrench into everything. *ugh* (read more)

Yes there's more. So now we couldn't stay on Sunday anymore cause that's the day of the wedding!! I mean, it's not like it's a friend's wedding, but of William's supervisor's wedding at his work. But William really wants to go ... so now we have to fly back by Saturday night just so that William can go to this wedding. Next we got into this HUGE fight over whether or not I should come cause I had no dress to wear. William said he can wear his one-and-only-suit. Well that's just perfect, what am I gonna wear?? Then he said that I can wear the dress he'll buy with the casino money we're gonna win. Yeah ... I should just hold my breath for that one!!! *grrr* So if he's gonna put it that way, then the conversation is over and I'm not going to go. pffft.

Then we went back to work on planning the Vegas trip. We decided that we're going to check-out of the casino Saturday morning and rent a car to drive to around until the plane trip back to O.C. at 8:00 PM. Now I wanted to rent a convertible, just for fun. The price for a regular car is $27.99, the price for a convertible is $47.99. So for $20.00 more I get this really nice sporty looking car. Well William said no because he doesn't want to drive a convertible. I yelled back and said I'll drive the darn thing. He said he doesn't want to sit in it. Then we got into a HUGE argument over that (which I'm sure the lady at travelworm.com heard all about). Bottom line, I'm still mad at him right now for being an anal party pooper. pffft.

Now the final conclusion for the lightsaber. William said no. Geez, what a surprise there. He said I can't have the lightsaber cause I don't have the money for it. Whatever, he said no to the convertible too and that was only $20.00 more. I wonder why sometimes William thinks that I don't listen to him. *folds arms* Oh yeah to top all this off, there's three holes in my jacket from dry-cleaning. Well I told him to talk to his company about these holes in my jacket. I hoped the company would contact the dry-cleaning vendor and ask why there are holes in MY jacket. Everytime I call to remind him, I get: "oh I'm too busy today", "oh I'm really busy", "oh I forgot", "oh show me the holes" ... Whatever, there are freakin HOLES in my jacket and he has been butt lazy for TWO weeks and haven't asked yet!

Sometimes I wonder why I'm still with him. pffft. The stupid dork. Okie that's my venting for today. I have no problem publishing this on the web cause he doesn't EVER read my blog anyway ... after I told him to at least make a visit once in a while. But noooo ... he has NO interest in knowing what I think about things. Whatever ... so I'm just gonna vent everything out about him HERE ... and he can't do nothing about it. >:)
