I woke up this morning to find out that the clinical trial results for the Alzheimer's drugs that William's company was making have f-a-i-l-e-d. Yes, that spelled "failed". So the company stocks plunged to 85 cents a share! Just perfect! The paper it's printed on is worth more! So that's a bummer news. People are going to start getting laid off at his company now. *sigh* That lightsaber I want just grew more and more distant.

Let's see, on top of that, I went to Claim Jumpers with my brothers on the weekend and, ahem, they underpaid me. My brothers have yet to learn that there's more to life than just paying the price of the meal. There are such things as taxes AND tips in the world. Let's not forget that the soda they ordered wasn't exactly FREE either! So yeah, I picked up their tap on it, I paid at least another $15.00 extra just on that. Then the appetizer we ordered, which everyone ate, I completely paid for it. So yeah ... I spent LOTS of money that night. The final bill came out to be $82.00. *sigh* Last time I'm eating Claim Jumpers with them. We go McDonalds next time! (Oh yes the whole Claim Jumpers trip came after my 5 hours of grueling state exam with 200 multiple choice questions and 4 essays. Let's just say I got capertunnel on my wrist by using a pencil.) Another sad news is that a good friend, one of my co-worker's boyfriend got laid off of work today. After almost three years of service, they gave him the pink slip, WITHOUT any kind of warning. *sigh* That must be the worst feeling. So even though the economy supposedly has picked up, I think we're still really feeling some of the residual effects of the effects of 9-11.

Well I procrastinated the month away. I'm VERY behind at my work, so I think I'll have to restrict my Internet time tomorrow to catch up. So don't be surprised if you don't see me online at all tomorrow. Also I just remembered that I have a midterm and final coming up in my PERL class this Friday and next Friday and I so far have a "C" in the class cause I haven't even opened the textbook yet. But I did read Chapter 8 last night! YAY! I'm so proud! I read ONE WHOLE CHAPTER! Yes, it wasn't as bad as I thought, maybe I will be able to catch up on 12 weeks of work if I actually studied. Well I got papers to write tonight for tomorrow night. Then on Wednesday I have to work on my extra credit PERL projects to bring up my grade in PERL. So I'll be pretty booked for the rest of this week. *waves*
