You need to find out your Five Elements
first from Chinese Fortune
Calendar. Usually, the elements with a lower score (weight) are your lucky elements.
The elements with too much weight are your unlucky elements. Anything in your lucky
element's column in the chart will bring you luck. Anything in your unlucky element's
column's will give you trouble.
If your five-elements is lack of Water, you
will be lucky in the winter(cold weather). You will have better luck if you wear black.
You will have more luck at night than during the day. You will be lucky in the Years of
Pig and Rat, the Months of Pig and Rat (November and December), and the Days of of Pig and
Rat. You should go to beach or ski often. You should drink more water or other cold
drinks...
If your five-elements
is too much Fire, you will be less lucky in the summer. You shouldn't wear red. You won't
be lucky in the Years of Horse or Snake. You should avoid hot and spicy food...
Good luck means wedding, engagement, new job,
promotion,easy money,new baby, new house...
Bad luck means divorce, separation, traffic
tickets, accidents, lawsuits, news of family death, money losses, bad health...
To find your good/bad years look for the five
element's weight of years. If there is a year with your lucky element which has more than 30
score, it can be considered as a good year. If a year shows a 30 score your

If your Five Elements are almost evenly distributed, you are one of the luckiest people in
the world since Five Elements are balanced. But for most people the Five Elements are out
of balance. The key to get more luck and success is to balance the Five Elements. When
they are in balance, they are peaceful and you are too. When they are out of balance, they
will fight and you will be in trouble. So your lucky elements are the ones that can bring
the Five Elements into balance. Usually the lucky elements are the ones with a lesser
weight (score).

environment to bring your five elements into balance.

In the fortune-telling system, we want to use metal, water, wood, fire and earth as the
five elements to explain everything. Metal stands for mineral, gold, jewelry, iron, rock
or something hard. Water stands for liquid or something cold. Wood stands for tree or
something to do with wood. Fire stands for Sun, fire, heat, light or something hot. Earth
stands for soil, dust or ground. There are affinity and enmity relationships between five
elements.
The affinity relationship means
supporting, helping, producing, etc.
- Water can help tree (Wood) grow.
- Wood can help Fire to burn.
- Fire can help to produce dust (Earth).
- Earth can help mineral (Metal) to form.
- Metal can hold Water.
We can say that :-
- Water is the supporting element of Wood. Wood can release the power of Water.
- Wood is the supporting element of Fire. Fire can release the power of Wood.
- Fire is the supporting element of Earth. Earth can release the power of Fire.
- Earth is the supporting element of Metal. Metal can release the power of Earth.
- Metal is the supporting element of Water. Water can release the power of Metal.
The enmity relationship means fighting,
conflicting, rejecting, etc.
- Water can extinguish Fire, but Fire might evaporate Water.
- Wood can break the ground (Earth), but Earth can buries Wood too.
- Fire can melt Metal, but Metal might not melt before Fire is extinguished.
- Earth can absorb Water, but Water can cover the land (Earth).
- Metal can cut Wood, but Metal might become dull before breaking Wood.
We can say that :-
- Water and Fire are enemies. Water overwhelms the movement of Fire.
- Wood and Earth are enemies. Wood overwhelms the movement of Earth.
- Fire and Metal are enemies. Fire overwhelms the movement of Metal.
