Sailor Moon Spoilers below - Do NOT read on unless you've already watched Sailor Moon! Season 2 of Sailor Moon
The first set of villains are Alan and Ann (or better known as Ali and En in the ADV Japanese version). Alan and Ann depend on the Doom Tree for their food and survival. The Doom Tree need energy to stay alive. Alan and Ann has travelled throughout the galaxy in search for the best source of energy to feed the Doom Tree. Hence they arrived on Earth to fulfill that need.
The second part of Season 2 is the Negamoon Clan (US Version) / Black Moon. This is a clan that lives at a place called the Dark Moon (Japanese Version) which revolves around the 10th planet of our Solar System - a 10th planet called Nemesis (Japanese Version).
Rubeus (US & Japanese Version) speaks directly to the Wiseman, who is controlling the entire operation. The Wiseman is under the orders of Prince Diamond/Prince Dimente. The true purpose of the Wiseman is revealed later in the series.
Catsy/Koan is the rival of Sailor Mars. Her power is fire. At the beginning, the Negamoon Sisters/Four Phantom Sisters send Driods to do their fighting. The Driods are defeated when met with Sailor Moon's Scepter power. Then an emerald-shaped gem is left behind as the Driods are "moon-dusted". Then when they realize their Driods are ineffective, the sisters try to capture Rini/Chibi-Usa themselves. In one episode, Catsy/Koan is losing in the battle against the scouts/senshi and thus Rebeus gives her a space-time bomb. If used, it will kill both her and everyone else around her. She was about to use this bomb until Sailor Mars was able to convince her otherwise. Catsy/Koan is the first to be purified by Sailor Moon. (Episode 70 of 200) Catsy/Koan now stays with the Sailor Scouts/Sailor Senshi.
Birdie/Berthier is the rival of Sailor Mercury. Her power is ice. In the final battle with Birdie/Berthier is the chess game against Amy/Ami. She is about to lose the chess match and in an desperate attempt to win, Birdie/Berthier froze everything around her, including herself. Then Catsy/Koan runs in to convince her that there is a better way than to sacrifice herself. That is when Birdie/Berthier is purified by Sailor Moon. (Episode 71 of 200)
Avery (US Version)/Calaveras (Japanese Version) sees that Rubeus gave her sister such a powerful weapon decides to tag along. This episode is 72 of 200. In the US Version, this is the last episode Toby Proctor is the voice of Tuxedo Mask. This is also the last episode for a LONG time to be shown in the US. The voice-dubbing production of Sailor Moon ended. The reason production stopped was due to lack of profit and pay issues with the voice actors. (As a sidenote, it was because of this episode that I decided to pursue the Japanese subbed version). It was years before Sailor Moon was dubbed in English again.
Prisma/Petz is the rival of Sailor Jupiter. (hint: just take a look at the color of their outfits) ~_^ Avery/Calaveras is the rival of Sailor Venus. Although Avery/Calaveras simply wants to see the action, she eventually gets herself caught up in the middle of the action. Her sister Prisma/Petz is so overtaken by the dark powers of the wand that Avery/Calaveras became a target herself.It is at this time when Avery/Calaveras realizes the concept of friendship and love that she was purified by Sailor Moon. Then the sailor warriors combined powers and took down Prisma/Petz. It is also at this time that Rubeus revealed his true purpose. It was only to use the Negamoon Sisters/Four Phantom Sisters as pawns in his game. Rubeus then activates the true power of the Prisma/Petz's wand. This power could only be destroyed with the combination of ALL the scounts/senshi power - Sailor Planet Power. It is also in this episode that Rini/Chibi-Usa and Rubeus discover where the Silver Crystal really is.
Rubeus is defeated in episode 74 of 200 by Sailor Moon and Rini/Chibi-Usa. His is caused by his own misfortune. Then Emerald/Esmeraude becomes the person in charge of capturing Rini/Chibi-Usa and the Silver Crystal. She also uses Driods to do her dirty work. As a side story, Emerald/Esmeraude is secretly in love with Prince Diamond/Dimande. Her love for Prince Diamond/Dimande and jealousy for Neo-Queen Serenity will lead her to a fatal mistake in episode 84 of 200.
Prince Diamond/Dimande is infatuated with the beauty of Neo-Queen Serenity and wants her for himself. He stoops to dressing Sailor Moon up as Neo-Queen Serenity to satisfy his lust. Prince Diamond/Dimande controls the energy of the Black Crystal, which is what took over the defenses of Crystal Tokyo.
(Doesn't he look like Darien???) Anyhow, Prince Diamond/Dimande does not listen to Sapphire/Saphir's advice. Instead Prince Diamond/Dimante chose to listen to the Wiseman's ideas. Sapphire/Saphire eventually
learns of the Wiseman's true purpose and tries to sabatoge the Wiseman's
plans. During the process, Sapphire/Saphir becomes injured and he
flees to present day Japan. At that moment, Sapphire/Saphir is discovered
by the four Phantom Sisters (who are now ordinary humans). Prince Diamond/Dimande is witness to the Wiseman's destruction of his brother and now seeks revenge. Before the battle in episode 87 of 200, there is a touching scene between Molly (US Version)/Naru (Japanse Version) and Serena/Usagi as she is rushing to battle the Wiseman. This is a classic scene that many Moonie fans love! During Diamond/Dimande's battle with Wiseman, Sailor Moon is attacked by the Wiseman. Diamond/Dimande rushes to protect Sailor Moon and is dealt a fatal wound by the Wiseman. Diamond/Dimande passes away believing that the people of the Dark Moon can live happily with people of Earth.
Wicked Lady/Black Lady is the evil version of Rini/Chibi-Usa. She is brainwashed by the Wiseman in episode 84 of 200. Her purpose is to be used by the Wiseman (US & Japanese Version) to absorb the power from the Black Crystal to destroy Earth. (The Wiseman is also known as the Doom Phantom (US Version)/Death Phantom (Japanese Version). However Sailor Moon is able to use the power of the Silver Crystal in episode 88 of 200 to reveal the truth to Wicked Lady/Black Lady and bring her back to being Rini/Chibi-Usa. Soon after Rini/Chibi-Usa returns to her normal self, the Wiseman immediately appears and Sailor Moon transforms into Neo-Queen Serenity to use the power of the Silver Crystal to destroy him. At this moment, a tear is shed from Rini/Chibi-Usa and behold the Silver Crystal of the future appears. Now with two Silver Crystal, the Wiseman is destroyed. However, just like in Season 1, both Moon Princesses should have died after they used the full power of the Silver Crystals. But both Moon Princesses WISHED to protect everyone (including each other), therefore the TWO Silver Crystals granted their wishes and miraculously, Sailor Moon & Rini/Chibi-Usa survived the battle. |
There
are two parts to the villains in Season 2. 
Alan
and Ann use "Cardians" to capture energy from people of
Earth. The Cardians are generally
controlled by Alan's flute music. The
Cardians can be defeated by being purified by Sailor Moon's "Moon
Scepter Elimination" (Japanese)/"Moon Princess Halation"
(English).
The
season begins with the introduction of 
The
youngest of the Negamoon Sisters/Four Phantom Sisters is Catsy (US
Version) / Koan (Japanese Version). Like all the Negamoon Sisters,
they all love Rubeus. They will willing to sacrifice their own lives
to make Rubeus happy.
The
next Negamoon Sister/Phantom Sister to be sent after Rini/Chibi-Usa
is Birdie (US Version)/Berthier(Japanese Version). 
The
next Negamoon Sister/Phantom Sister to be sent to battle the sailor
warriors is Prisma (US Version)/Petz (Japanese Version). Rubeus gives
Prisma/Petz a wand than can increase her powers 100 times. 
Anyhow,
Episode 72 eventually came along and this is when Rini/Chibi-Usa discovers
the true identity of the Sailor Scouts/Sailor Senshi. 
Emerald
(US Version)/Esmeraude (Japanese Version) is the next enemy to arrive
now that the Four Phantom Sisters have become ordinary human beings.
She works closely with the Prince and has come to warn Rubeus of his
failures. She is first introduced in episode 73 of 200. 
Also
in episode 74 of 200 is the introduction of Prince Diamond (US Version)
/Prince Dimande (Japanese Version).
Prince
Diamond/Dimande also has a younger brother named Sapphire (US Version)/Saphir
(Japanese Version). Sapphire/Saphir is the wiser and more reasonable
person in the clan. (At times you can hear him call Diamond/Dimande
- "nii-san", which means "older brother" 
The
last villain in this series is Wicked Lady (US Version) / Black Lady
(Japanese Version).
