Sailor Moon Spoilers below - Do NOT read on unless you've already watched Sailor Moon! Season 3 of Sailor Moon
Dr. Tomoe begins the season possessed by a demonic entity. His mission help the evil entity within Hotaru to gain strength.
Unfortunately even with Dr. Tomoe saving Kaorinite from death, he eventually just wanted to use her one last time. When Mistress 9 was resurrected in episode 123, both he and Mistress 9 destroyed Kaorinite.
Sailor Pluto reveals herself and her talisman of the Garnet Orb to save Sailor Uranus and Neptune. She combines her talisman with the other two and forms the Purity Chalice or also known as the Holy Grail . Then it was a foot race between Eugeal and Sailor Moon for the Chalice. Sailor Moon touched the Chalice first and transforms for the first time into Super Sailor Moon. Super Sailor Moon easily deflected the fire attack by Eugeal and threw her out the window.
Mimet wasn't as successful at Eugeal. In fact, she didn't accomplish much during her mission of capturing Heart Crystals.
During the time of Mimet as the lead Death Buster in charge of capturing more Heart Crystals, Hotaru's true powers are growing. Also during this time, Hotaru becomes really good friends with Rini (US Version) / ChibiUsa (Japanese Version). However it will be revealed later on that Hotaru is in fact NOT evil, but she was possessed, just like Dr. Tomoe, by an evil entity. By episode 120, Mimet knew her time was running out and comes up with an ultimate plan to eliminate the scouts/senshi, but karma has it that she would be sabatoged in her plans. Just when Mimet wants to deal a final blow to the scouts/senshi, her plans are foiled by Telulu. Telulu was upset that Mimet tricked her out of a job that was given to her by Dr. Tomoe. In her revenge, Telulu decides to pull the power on a machine while Mimet is still inside of it. This is the same machine that was invented by Eugeal but Eugeal never used it because of it's one weakness. The weakness is if anyone was in the machine at the time and the power was pulled, the person would fade into oblivion forever. So Mimet double-crossed Eugeal and Telulu, and eventually she got double-crossed herself. Ultimately, Mimet never got her chance to defeat the scouts/senshi.
Telulu has this unique talent to control plants. So she uses her plants to capture a large number of Heart Crystals at the same time. Her plan is discovered by Sailor Pluto. In the final show down, Telulu is deperate to win and transforms one of her plants into a huge monster. During the transformation, Tuxedo Mask / Tuxedo Kamen uses his rose and shatters the black star of the plant.
The fourth of the Heart Snatchers / Witches 5 is Viluy. She lasted just one episode (episode 122). She basically shoved Kaorinite aside just so she could get a chance to capture the Heart Crystals. She had this plan to use her bracelet to activate a super computer that can capture a lot of Heart Crystals to feed the evil entity inside Hotaru. But her plan was foiled and her bracelet disintegrated her instead.
Mistress 9 is the Soverign of Silence (US Version) / Messiah of Silence (Japanese Version). Mistress 9 is an evil entity that took over Hotaru's body so she can use it to find the Purity Chalice. With the Purity Chalice, she can open the gates to allow Pharoh 90 to come to silence the Earth. In the final episodes of Season 3, the struggle between Hotaru and Mistress 9 over Hotaru's body is obvious. For example, Dr. Tomoe regains his human consciouness after he was defeated by Sailor Uranus and Neptune. With the evil entity within him destroyed, Dr. Tomoe remembers his precious daughter Hotaru. In episode 125, Dr. Tomoe apologizes to Hotaru and says this whole thing is his fault. As Mistress 9 tries to kill Dr. Tomoe, Hotaru fights on to retake control of her body. But Mistress 9 pretends to be injured and tricks Dr. Tomoe to ask Sailor Moon for the Purity Chalice. Sailor Moon wanting to help Hotaru hands the Purity Chalice willingly to Dr. Tomoe. With the Purity Chalice is Mistress 9 hands, she quickly overwhelms Hotaru's consciousness and retakes Hotaru's body again. Mistress 9 succeeds in her mission to bringing Pharoh 90 to Earth, but she is weakened by a sudden blast of energy from Pharoh 90. Dr. Tomoe and Sailor Moon jumped to divert the full blast (Episode 125). This gives Hotaru a chance to regain consciousness and Hotaru recalls that she is Sailor Saturn. With the appearance of the Saturn symbol on Hotaru's forehead, the dark star that represents Mistress 9 is eliminated from her body.
He enters into our universe after Mistress 9 gives him the Purity Chalice. In the picture below is the red beam from Sailor Moon's Heart Scepter to try to stop Pharoh 90 from getting closer to Earth.
Of course the Heart Scepter power is not strong enough to defeat Pharoh 90. To defeat Pharoh 90, Sailor Saturn sacrifices herself and uses her full power to defeat him. ** Many thanks to Absolute Anime and Wikipedia for their info and reference. |
Season
3 starts off with a mysterious man named Dr. Tomoe (US version) /
Professor Tomoe (Japanese Version), who will be revealed as the father
of 
Dr.
Tomoe has an assistant named Kaorinite (both in US and Japanese version)
who tries to assist him in finding the pure heart crystals. Kaorinite
is Dr. Tomoe's favorite assistant. Despite her failure to capture
any pure heart crystals and eventually is defeated by two new Sailor
Scounts / Senshi named 
Dr.
Tomoe calls upon the Bureau of Bad Behavior (US Version) or also known
as the Witches 5 (Japanese Version) to come aid him in finding the
pure heart crystals. The first of the Heart Snatchers (US Version)
/ Witches 5 (Japanese Version) is Eugeal (US Version) / Eudial (Japanese
Version). She is the leader of the Witches 5 and she actually successfully
found the pure heart crystals. The two heart crystals she discovered
revealed the two talisman: the Deep Aqua Mirror of Sailor Neptune
and the Space Sword of Sailor Uranus.
Eugeal
went back to her car to get away, but her car was sabatoged by Mimet
(US Version) / Mimite (Japanese Versions). So with the downfall of
Eugeal, the Mimete becomes the second of the Heart Snatchers (US Version)
/ Witches 5 (Japanese Version) to attempt to complete Dr. Tomoe's
mission.
The
biggest development during Mimet's time is the revelation of Hotaru
as Sailor Saturn. Sailor Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto feared the awakening
of Sailor Saturn because she is also known as the Sovereign of Silence
(US Version) / Senshi of Death (Japanese Version) - episode 119. Of
course, later on it is revealed that Sailor Saturn is also known as
the Senshi of Death, Rebirth, Darkness, and Silence. 
The
third of the Heart Snatchers (US Version) / Witches 5 (Japanese Version)
to take over the mission of capturing Heart Crystals is Telulu.
This
causes the plant to go out of control and eventually swallowes up
Telulu.
The
last of the Heart Snatchers / Witches 5 is a set of twins named Cyprine
and Ptilol. Combined their attacks are amazing and almost invincible
to defeat by the Scouts / Senshi. However they were able to be tricked
to blasting each other, which ended their short-lived one episode
encounter in episode 123. 
However
while Cyprine and Ptilol kept the Sailor Scouts / Senshi busy, it
gave Kaorinite time to capture 
Pharoh
90 does not have a physical human body. Pharoh 90 is represented simply
as a big red spiral in space the sends destructive powers to Earth.
