Inuyasha: Feudal Combat for PS2 by Bandai
Also coming out on Nintendon DS

Features:

• Team up with a friend or foe
• 12-playable characters
• 2-human players (but with the team up, you can see 4 characters fighting each other on the screen at the same time)

I actually played this game at the 2005 Anime Expo at the Bandai booth. I had no idea what I was doing, but the graphics were so awesome that people watched me play no matter what! I played against another human player. I played as Kagome, but I had Sango as my team-up character. Meanwhile the other guy had Sesshomaru as his main character and Inuyasha as his team character.

The Inuyasha PS2 line was quite long compared to the other games offered by Bandai. So check it out!

I actually show people playing this game at the Anime Expo 2003 @ the Bandai booth, the graphics looks good and it definitely got my attention. Below is a screenshot from the game.
