Sesshomaru, full-demon older brother of Inuyasha, is Gemelle's favorite character in the Japanese Anime Inuyasha. Lord Sesshomaru is the Lord of the Western Lands. He is a demon of few words.

In honor of the very handsome Sesshomaru, Gemelle lists her favorite Sesshomaru quotes. The voice star of Sesshomaru is David Kaye (aka: voice star of MegaTron from Transformers). David Kaye graced anime fans with his appearance at the Boston Anime Con of 2005. ^_^ Now if only David Kaye will come to the Anime Expo. ~_^

"The fang, it is the fang I seek here. Once I possess it, I shall transform mysel into a far greater power. Humpht! Yet why must I explain? My power is what it is. I shall not always be limited thus. Can it be that I'm afraid or is it merely I know not my own limits. Perhaps I presume ... the fant, it is the fant I seek here." ~ the VERY first words of Sesshomaru. [Gemelle's comment: He likes to talk to himself.]

"Jaken, I leave them to you." ~ referring to the humans who are in his way. [Gemelle's comment: Poor Jaken.]

"Jaken, once we're through, I want him dead." ~ referring to Inuyasha. [Gemelle's comment: Sesshomaru is sooo demanding!]

"Indeed, I've quite missed you as well, little brother." *smile* ~ @ Inuyasha. [Gemelle's comment: I knew it! Sesshomaru does have feelings for his little brother!]

"Hmmm? A mortal, how interesting. Others would be shamed, but with you little brother, the girl quite suits you. These human creatures I should think you had enough of them. Or is it a taste from father?" ~ referring to Inuyasha and Kagome. [Gemelle's comment: Sesshomaru approves of Kagome! She'll be his future sister-in-law!]

"Be not a fool, I've no such time to waste. The tomb of our father, where must I seek it?" ~ @ Inuyasha. [Gemelle's comment: Sesshomaru is asking for directions!!! What a man!]

"Seeing yet never seen. Protected yet never known to its protector. No other clues are known." ~ referring to his father's tomb.

"I see, then you leave me no choice but let your mother's suffering convince you." ~ referring to Inuyasha's mother.

"A trick is it?" *smiles* ~ @ Inuyasha. [Gemelle's comment: Sesshomaru smiles again!]

"What a bother." ~ referring to Jaken's scheme of fooling Inuyasha.

"This scheme of yours is beneath me. Should it fail, Jaken, you will die." ~ referring to Jaken's scheme of finding the Tetsusaiga. [Gemelle's comment: Jaken needs life insurance in his line of work!]

Episode 06 - "Tetsusaiga, The Phantom Sword"

"INUYASHA! I know where it is now. Of all the places for him to hide it. All this time beneath our very own noses. Or to be technical, above our very own noses. Right above, one might say. Father was determined to keep it a secret. Which is way he chose here to hide it." ~ said after Sesshomaru found the gateway to his father's tomb. [Gemelle's comment: Sesshomaru wins the scavenger hunt!]

"Well then, little brother, since it was obviously it was done without your knowledge how would you like to come with me to find out?" ~ said after Sesshomaru found the gateway to his father's tomb.

"Humpht. You're not amused?" ~ said after he acknowledged he deceived Inuyasha.. [Gemelle's comment: Sesshomaru "punked" Inuyasha!]

"Here is what I had sought. At last I shall take possession of the secret sword. The lethal legendary blade known to kill one hundred in one stroke, Tetsusaiga!" ~ said after Sesshomaru found the Tetsusaiga. [Gemelle's comment: Wouldn't Sesshomaru be a perfect narrator for the Discovery Channel?]

"Be more respectful, it's our father's tomb." ~ as Inuyasha attacks Sesshomaru.

"You fight as though you were still a child." ~ @ Inuyasha.

"Are you done? I am. I don't think you've met my poison claws." ~ said after Inuyasha tried to pull the Tetsusaiga.

Episode 07 - "Showdown! Inuyasha vs. Sesshomaru"

"Humpht, Inuyasha, your patience with this creature is astonishing to me. You protect her, indulge her, even seem to love her. Certainly these feelings of mercy of yours are not something I inherited from our great and terrible father. It must have been that mother of yours, that human mother, who caused our father to meet his end in this ignoble place. Her blood affects you as well. Is it that which so endears you to them? When it comes to humans, I of course, bears no such weakness." ~ referring to the relationship between Inuyasha and Kagome. [Gemelle's comment: Sure Sesshomaru. Just wait until you meet Rin!]

"You forget your station, worthless half breed." ~ @ Inuyasha.

*smiles* "All that for a memory and a dead mortal girl? If I had known that's what it took to make you fight, I would have killed her sooner." ~ after Inuyasha struck Sesshomaru TWICE! [Gemelle's comment: Tough love! ]

"The sword that's what protected you." ~ referring to how Kagome survived a direct attack by Sesshomaru.

"Big words, for such a small vermin." ~ referring to Myoga's comments about using Tetsusaiga against Sesshomaru.

"Yeah yeah, roar roar to you too buddy. Let's get it over with." ~ Inuyasha - referring to Sesshomaru's roars in his true dog-demon form. [Gemelle's comment: This was too funny to pass up!]

Episode 18 - "Naraku and Sesshomaru Join Forces"

"Go find me a more suitable demon and bring me back his arm. Know that if you don't, I will have to kill you." ~ @ Jaken. [Gemelle's comment: Occupational hazard for Jaken.]

"What do you want? Should I know you?" ~ @ Naraku.

"I should know the name of the one who I make a pact with." ~ @ Naraku.

"Very well Naraku, you have yourself a deal." ~ @ Naraku.

"Draw your sword Inuyasha. Or will you surrender it now without a need for a battle?" ~ @ Inuyasha.

"I'm the Tetsusaiga's rightful owner. Stand back as I demonstrate its true power." ~ @ Inuyasha. [Gemelle's comment: Sesshomaru does a show and tell!!]

"Witness this and learn from the master, Inuyasha. With one stroke I shall slaughter 100 demons." ~ @ Inuyasha. [Gemelle's comment: "Watch and learn, young grasshopper"!]

"As you wish. I will observe." ~ @ Jaken's request to slay Miroku on Sesshomaru's behalf. [Gemelle's comment: Sesshomaru obeys Jaken??]

"*chuckles* You're stupidy knows no bounds. Run and hide while you can. That and only that is the only choice left to you. Then again, perhaps you should stand up and face your death, at least you would die with honor." ~ Sesshomaru @ Jaken's request to slay Miroku.

• "Blah blah blah. The guy starts swinging a big new sword around and suddenly he's looking for a soap box to stand on and preach to the world. *chuckles* " ~ Inuyasha
• "Silence, I have heard enough." ~ Sesshomaru @ Inuyasha.

Episode 19 - "Go Home to Your Own Time, Kagame!"

"The transformation was stopped by an arrow, of a mortal girl no less. I suppose the Tetsusaiga didn't take to me. *smiles*" ~ Sesshomaru spoken to himself. [Gemelle's comment: Awww, poor Sesshomaru, he got rejected by a sword ... :( ]

"Let's see you try to take this arm away from me.*" ~ @ Inuyasha. [Gemelle's comment: Umm, quick reminder - Inuyasha already took one of Sesshomaru's arms.]

"Inuyasha, make her stop. Half demon though you are, the blood of a demon runs in you. Be proud of that. Do not accept human aid even in death. " ~ @ Inuyasha [Gemelle's comment: Where is that Rin? =P ]

"Very touching, trying to buy time in order to save the lives of your friends." ~ @ Inuyasha.

"Do not approach any closer." ~ @ Jaken to not get any closer to the Tetsusaiga. [Gemelle's comment: Sesshomaru does care about Jaken! ]

"This wretched arm threatens to burn me alive." ~ @ the human arm given to Sesshomaru by Naraku. [Gemelle's comment: Sesshomaru has so much trouble with arms.]
