Episode 34 - "Tetsusaiga and Tenseiga"

"So, Totosai is gone." ~ @ Jaken when Totosai is no longer in his cave.

"I see. He has no intention of forging a sword that suits my purpose and so he has escaped." ~ @ Jaken when Sesshomaru is fully aware of the situation.

"Inuyasha, why have you conspired with Totosai to plot against me?" ~ @ Inuyasha as Totosai hides behind him.

• "Because you happen to be evil incarnate?" ~ Totosai's reponose.
• "Totosai, sounds like you're looking for an early retirement into your grave." @ Totosai

"Totosai your word is as good as a blood-vout to me. Did you hear that Inuyasha? He will forge me a new sword after I kill you off." ~ @ Totosai and Inuyasha. [Gemelle's comment: Ummm, there's definitely a misunderstanding here.]

"Too slow ." ~ @ Inuyasha as he tries to strike Sesshomaru.

"Well Totosai, don't you feel sorry for Tetsusaiga? That famous sword is no better than a wooden club the way Inuyasha swings it around like a Neanderthal. A sword can live or die depending on its master." ~ @ Jaken when Totosai is no longer in his cave. [Gemelle's comment: Sesshomaru knows what a Neanderthal is??]

"So you absolutely refuse." ~ @ Totosai as he refuses again to make Sesshomaru a new sword. [Gemelle's comment: It's beginning to sink in for Sesshomaru that Totosai's NOT going to make him a new sword.]

"Do you dare imply that this useless sword is worthy of me?" ~ @ Totosai.

"They've escaped." ~ as Totosai helps the group escape.

"You want to know? Jaken?" ~ in response to Jaken's request to see the power of the Tensaiga.

"Get up Jaken. You're fine." ~ @ Jaken as he is recovering from a strike by the Tensaiga.

"This dragon has given me a gift. Now I can go back and claim what is owed to me, Tetsusaiga." ~ after Sesshomaru killed a dragon. [Gemelle's comment: Sesshomaru sure sees situations differently than everyone else.]

"Have no fear. It will all end today. You'll never have the power to beat me. Not without the windscar." ~ @ Inuyasha. [Gemelle's comment: Sesshomaru stayed true to his words. He's never gone after the Tetsusaiga after this battle.]

Episode 35 - "True Owner of the Great Sword"

"You, you are protecting your sword." ~as Inuyasha uses his head to block a strike from Sesshomaru.

"Mind your own business girl. Your generosity is wasted. I don't eat human food." ~as Inuyasha uses his head to block a strike from Sesshomaru. [Gemelle's comment: Sesshomaru knows that Rin is showing generosity!]

"No thanks. I told you I don't need anthing from you? Where did you get those bruises? You don't have to tell me if you don't want to. What are you smiling about? I'm simply asked a question. I don't care, I'm just curious." ~@ Rin. [Gemelle's comment: This is such a sweet moment. It's so obvious that Sesshomaru does care!!!]

"I expected a relieved welcome from you Jaken. Not an interrogation." ~ @ Jaken.

• "Yes, I'm glad that you're well. I thought you might be dead." ~ Jaken
• Sesshomaru throws another rock at Jaken's head

"Interesting. I can see them. They're from the underworld. I'll do another test. I'll use the Tenseiga." ~ @ Jaken.

"Humpht. Tensaiga, you compelled me to save a human life today." ~ @ Tensaiga.[Gemelle's comment: Although Sesshomaru believes that Tensaiga compelled him to save Rin, it would not have worked if Sesshomaru didn't have kindness and compassion in his heart toward Rin. ^_^ ]

Episode 44 - "Kaijinbo's Possessed Sword"

"Inuyasha. Inuyasha did this. Although I doubt he was able to escape unscathed." ~as looks at the head of Naraku's 3rd incarnation.

"I can smell it from the demon's fangs - the scent of Tetsusaiga. Hmm, so I was right. These fangs broke the sword in half." ~as Sesshomaru lifts up the head of the demon.

"Come with me. Enough of that Rin. Stop It." ~as Sesshomaru tells Rin to stop screaming at the demon's head and have her and Jaken follow him.

"Scent in the wind tells me what transpired here. But one thing baffles me. The scent of Inuyasha's blood has changed. It is not the smell of a half-demon. Inuyasha's blood has the same scent as my blood and of our father's." ~as Sesshomaru contemplates to himself.

"How about it Kaijinbo? I would have you forge a sword for me with the fangs of this demon." ~ a Sesshomaru request.

"Allow me to explain something Kaijinbo: This sword Tenseiga was forged by the same master who banished you some time ago and the fangs of the demon I lay here before you broke Tetsusaiga, also a sword forged by Totosai." ~ a Sesshomaru request.

"This must have been the work of Kaijinbo." ~ a Sesshomaru looks at Jaken's severed body.

"Let's go Jaken, Pull yourself together quickly." ~ another Sesshomaru request.

"Who else is capable of bringing someome back from the dead?" ~ questions Sesshomaru at Jaken's disbelief.

"Let's go Jaken, Pull yourself together quickly." ~ another Sesshomaru request.

Episode 45 - "Sesshomaru Wields Tokijin"

"Stop Rin. Do not move." ~as Rin is running to greet Sesshomaru.

"A woman. " ~as Kagura is discovered hiding behind a tree.

"All very interesting. But did you search me out to simply tell me this?" ~at Kagura for explaining the origins of Goshinki and the fangs for Tokijin.

"Rin, you're free to move now." ~ at the still frozen Rin.

"I was the one that commissioned Kaijinbo to make this sword." ~ at Inuyasha's group.

"Just who do you take me for?" ~ at Inuyasha's group.

"Hmm, I see this sword has chosen me as its master. Draw your sword Inuyasha, there's something I wish to verify." ~ at Inuyasha.

"Precisely, come at me little brother. I'll make it easy, I shall come for you." ~ at Inuyasha's group.

"What have you altered your combat strategy? You usually charge at me blindly with great haste." ~ at Inuyasha. [Gemelle's comment: Sesshomaru's taunting Inuyasha! What a strategy!]

"Ahh, Tetsusaiga has become heavier, I see." ~ at Inuyasha.

• "It's a LOT heavier, you stupid jackass." ~ Inuyasha
• "Humpht, the sword is too heavy for you. You are better off without it." ~ as Sesshomaru knocks the Tetsusaiga out of Inuyasha's hands.

"I've seen all that I needed. Die!" ~ at Inuyasha.

"That scent again." ~ at himself as he senses a new scent from Inuyasha.

"To think that he made me, Sesshomaru, tremble with fear for even a moment. Inuyasha, in that instant." ~ as Sesshomaru reflects on the battle with Inuyaha. [Gemelle's comment: How often does one refer to oneself in the 3rd person??]
