Welcome to Sunyee's Bio Page!

Gemelle

Since 01/21/2002, you are the:

Sunyee's Facebook profile

sunyee_wings1.gif (5641 bytes)This is Sunyee's Bio Page. You can click on the above links to get a better idea of who I am! ^_^

On the Internet, I go by the alias of Gemelle.

My current alias of Gemelle started when I signed up for Neopets back in February 7, 2001. I chose "Gemelle" because my first Neopet was an "elephante with a gem".

-> Elephante + Gem

-> Ele + Gem

-> Reverse it and it becomes: Gem + Ele

-> Gemele -> pronunciation "Gemelle".

So where did I get Sunyee from? Well that name was given by my Grandfather (Mom's Dad). Grandpa came up with both my Chinese (湘瑀) and English name (Sunyee). For a person who's highest level of education was attending a junior high in China, he sure was very literate in both Chinese and English.

I, Sunyee, was born and raised in Taiwan. When I was six years old, I immigrated to the US.  I have two annoying siblings.  In 1999, I graduated from UCLA.   Now, I'm working!   ^_^

My various websites and domains are places for me post up compilations of my Internet work ...  hopefully, one day my work will inspire many others to create their own websites.  (And from what I've heard so far, I've actually inspired many people!!! YAY me!)

For those that think webpage making is too tough or think that it's only for computer nerds ... it's not!  Webpage making is a great skill to have.  It really tests your abilities at the computer and as a person.

A webmaster must learn to plan ahead, be adventurous, and open to new ideas.   Most of all, a webmaster must be patient AND persistent.  A half completed webpage isn't going to last in cyberspace.  Only the websites with dedicated webmasters survive. (Which after 10+ years on the Internet is a RARE sight.)

My websites have been on the web for over a decade and they're all still going strong!  So if you're thinking of creating a webpage OR an entire website, go for it!!  You've got nothing to lose, but much knowledge and wisdom to gain.

I have a little Homepage Helper page should you need help or ideas to enhance your website.
